Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026:
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you (the "user", "you") and PlusMedia360 SAS (the "Operator", "we", "us", "our"), the entity that operates the WikiPlus website at wikiplus.co (the "Service"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately. Continued use of the Service after these Terms have been published or modified constitutes acceptance of the version in force at the time of use.
2. About this Service
WikiPlus is a collection of free, browser-based utilities that help users complete everyday digital tasks — editing PDFs, compressing images, transcribing audio, formatting code, generating QR codes, and many more. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly or JavaScript libraries. Files you process are never uploaded to our servers.
The Service is funded by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no account requirement to use any tool.
3. Definitions
Throughout these Terms, the following words have the meanings indicated below:
- Service means the WikiPlus website, all subdomains, every tool, blog article, legal page, API endpoint, and downloadable content offered at wikiplus.co.
- User, you, your means any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Service.
- Operator, we, us, our means PlusMedia360 SAS, the entity that publishes and maintains the Service.
- Content means any text, image, video, audio, document, code, data, or other material you load into a tool, upload through the contact form, or otherwise transmit in connection with the Service.
- Output means the result produced by a tool after processing your Content — for example, a merged PDF, a resized image, or a transcript file.
- Tool means any of the individual utilities published on the Service.
4. Eligibility and age
The Service is intended for users aged 13 years or older (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable digital age of consent). By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
5. License to use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Operator grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include any right to resell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service or any part of it for commercial purposes, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
6. Description of the Service
The Service provides a catalogue of browser-based utilities organised into categories such as PDF, image, video, audio, code, SEO, text, converters, calculators, security, and YouTube. Each tool is documented on its own page with a description, usage instructions, frequently asked questions, and a privacy note. New tools are added regularly; existing tools are updated, renamed, retired, or replaced at the Operator's discretion. We do not guarantee that any specific tool will remain available indefinitely.
7. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose, or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Process Content that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party — for example, copyrighted material you do not own, personal data you are not authorised to handle, or confidential documents you are not permitted to share.
- Use the Service to create, distribute, or store malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any other harmful or malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, the servers on which it is hosted, or any related infrastructure — including via SQL injection, request smuggling, cross-site scripting, or any other intrusion technique.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers, headless browsers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable human usage or that ignores the directives in our robots.txt file.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the operation of the Service, the servers on which it runs, or the networks that connect to it — including by sending unsolicited high-frequency requests or by exploiting any vulnerability.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, sublicense, lease, or exploit any portion of the Service or any of its content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
- Remove, hide, or modify any copyright notice, trademark, watermark, or other proprietary marking on the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair it, or interfere with any other user's ability to access and use it.
Any breach of this Section 7 may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Service, without prior notice, and may be reported to the competent authorities where appropriate.
8. Intellectual property
The Service — including its source code, design, layout, branding, logos, trademarks, written content, blog articles, illustrations, icons, audio, and the selection and arrangement of all of the above — is owned by PlusMedia360 SAS or its licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved.
With respect to the Content you load into the tools and the Output produced from it:
- You retain all rights to the Content you process with the Service. Because the processing happens locally in your browser, the Operator never receives, stores, or uses your Content.
- You retain all rights to the Output produced by the tools, with the practical limitation that the Output may be derived from third-party libraries (such as pdf-lib, MuPDF, FFmpeg, Whisper) whose own licenses apply to the algorithmic transformation.
- Written guides, blog posts, FAQs, and other editorial text published on the Service are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, adapt, and redistribute them with attribution to WikiPlus and a link back to the source page.
9. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe that any material published on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by emailing info@wikiplus.co with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Your notice should include: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material with a URL, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA and may remove or disable access to the disputed material.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service and all tools, content, and Output are provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, title, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from a course of dealing, course of performance, or trade usage.
- Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, free from defects, free from viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the Output produced by any tool — including transcripts, conversions, generated images, schema markup, statistical calculations, and password strength.
- Any warranty that the Service is suitable for legal, medical, financial, regulatory, professional, life-critical, or safety-critical purposes. The tools are general-purpose utilities and must not be relied upon for such purposes without independent verification by a qualified professional.
- Any warranty regarding compatibility with your specific browser, device, operating system, or accessibility tool.
You acknowledge that the use of the Service is at your sole risk and that you are solely responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, financial loss, or other harm that may result from using the Service. We recommend that you keep independent backups of any file you process and verify the Output independently before relying on it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, loss of use, or loss of opportunity — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Any damage resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
- Any damage resulting from the conduct or content of any third party on or accessible through the Service.
- Any damage resulting from unauthorised access to, use of, or alteration of your transmissions or Content.
- Any damage resulting from errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or defects in the Output produced by any tool.
In jurisdictions that do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In any case, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed one hundred euros (EUR 100), which the parties agree is a reasonable allocation of risk given that the Service is provided free of charge.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PlusMedia360 SAS, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property, privacy, or contractual right; or (d) any Content you submit through the Service. This obligation to indemnify will survive termination of these Terms.
13. Third-party links and services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or resources that are not owned or controlled by the Operator. We provide these links solely as a convenience to you. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site or service.
Your interactions with any third-party website or service — including their terms, policies, and any purchase you make — are solely between you and that third party. We strongly recommend that you review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site before using it.
14. Advertising
The Service is funded by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense and may in the future include other ad networks or sponsored content. Advertisements shown on the Service are not endorsements of the advertised products or services by the Operator. Your interactions with any advertiser — including any purchase, registration, or download — are solely between you and that advertiser. We are not responsible for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of any such dealings.
15. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and at any time, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it — including any tool, feature, content, language version, or pricing model — with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual-property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution — shall survive.
17. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If you reside in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
18. Dispute resolution and jurisdiction
We encourage you to contact us first at info@wikiplus.co to attempt an amicable resolution of any dispute. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within sixty (60) days, the courts of Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if such modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of the Operator to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
20. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator concerning the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, representations, and warranties regarding the Service.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at wikiplus.co/terms/ and the date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the homepage or another reasonable means at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
